     Tournaments 

    Everyone is invited to participate in our OPEN TOURNAMENTS.
      We give prizes to gross and net winners, closest to
    the pin, and include a skins game.

    Saturday Slashers Tournament: Every Saturday all year round.  

    18 Holes @ 12:30 PM w/ $30 Entry Fee

    Saturday Slashers Cup
    There are 47 total weeks in the 2011-2012 season, starting May 14th. (Week 48 begins 5 week playoff.)

    You are required to play in 20 events in the 2011-2012 season to be eligible for the end of the year tournament.

    Slashers Cup ranking will be decided by point standings.

    The Tournament fee each week will be $36 covering GF, CF, CTP, Skins, Prize Money and SSC purse.

    Point System

    *1 point per event played     

    *1 point per $1 earned   

    *5 point bonus per Skin or CTP won

    (Ex. If you win $25 shop credit, 1 skin for $25, and 1 CTP for $20 you earn 80 points)

    Handicaps
    SSC handicaps will be monitored by Alamo Golf Club using either Scorekeeper or GHIN.

    Handicaps will be adjusted weekly.

    End of the Year Tournament

    The top 20 ranked players will compete in the end of the year SSC Match Play Championship.

    75% of your established handicap will be used during the match play tournament.

     $2 will be taken from each player's tournament fee and placed towards the end of the year tournament purse.

    Ties will be broken by total money earned.             

    We keep handicaps. Ask for details in the pro shop.

    The last Friday of every month. Get "Away" Fridays 

    Time: 1 PM Shotgun
    Fee:  $30 includes: green fee, cart fee, skins, closest to the pin, and snack food
    Format:  2 man scramble-Each team will receive 50% of combined handicap.

    Alamo Golf Club's Outside Events and Tournaments

    (Minimum 10 players - Maximum 80 players)


    Ø     Golf Tournament Formats: Net/Gross, Florida Scrambles, Shambles, Best Ball, Alternate Shot, Skins Game

                Entry fees: Monday-Friday

                9 holes- $25.00 18 holes- $36.00 per player

                Entry fees: Saturday and Sunday

                9 holes- $30.00 18 holes- $40.00 per player

    (Entry fees include: green fees, golf car fees, 3 beverage tickets, and merchandise gift cards for prizes.) PGA Professional staff will run all tournament operations (pairings, scorecards, scoreboards, prizes and presentation). Food can be provided for an additional $8.00 & up per player.


    Ø     Night Golf Tournaments: 9 holes- $45.00 per player

    (Entry fees include: green fees, golf car fees, merchandise gift cards for prizes, 3 beverage tickets, and pizza!) Glow in the dark balls and accessories are included as well. PGA Professional staff will run all tournament operations. Minimum of 25 players.

     


    Ø     Pitch-n-Putt Tournaments: 18 holes- $25.00 per player

    (Entry fees include: green fees, merchandise gift cards for prizes, and 3 beverage tickets.) Clubs can be provided for players if needed at no extra cost. PGA Professional staff will run all tournament operations. Food can be provided for an additional $8.00 & up per player.


    Ø     Putting Tournaments: 54 holes or 72 holes- $25.00 per player

    (Entry fees include: green fees, merchandise gift cards for prizes, putting green course set-up, and 3 beverage tickets.)PGA Professional staff will run all tournament operations. Food can be provided for an additional $8.00 & up per player.


    Ø     Driving Range Outings: Come enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at Alamo Golf Club's Driving Range. We can reserve our 2nd level area on the driving range for groups of 10 or more. We will offer great discounts on our range buckets, beverages, and snacks. After swinging away, the group can move to "The Backdoor" to enjoy some beverages and food can be provided for an additional $8.00 & up per player. (Group instruction by our PGA Professional staff is available for an additional fee!)
